Summary date-range history returns full sequential ranges up to 3 rows on Starter, 10 on Plus, and 50 on Pro. Use sample=even to condense larger spans within the same cap, and use fields to keep summary payloads smaller for agents.
Business plans are coming soon.
The beta launch uses individual accounts only, and every account is provisioned on Individual Pro for free. Business Plus and Business Pro are the planned team tiers for organizations that need shared seats and higher limits.
All standard plans are internal use only. Business adds seats and higher limits for teams, but it does not add customer-facing rights. You can use TickerDB in internal tools, internal dashboards, and internal agent workflows used by you or your team. You cannot ship TickerDB-backed outputs to customers or third parties, even if they are rewritten, summarized, scored, or otherwise transformed. Customer-facing or redistribution rights require a separate agreement — contact us.

Frequently asked questions
What makes TickerDB different from other financial APIs?
TickerDB is a categorical-first market intelligence database, not just an API that returns price data. The search endpoint lets you run arbitrary filters across categorical signals and supporting metadata fields ? trend, momentum, volatility, volume, and more. You query it like a database, not just fetch data for a ticker.
What do I get during the beta?
During beta, every new account is automatically set to the Individual Pro tier for free. No credit card required. The Starter, Plus, and Pro cards on this page show the standard individual plans after beta. Business plans are not part of the beta launch and are coming soon.
Why is the schema always free?
Agents need to see what's queryable before they can use the database effectively. Gating schema access would make the product harder to adopt, so it's free on every plan, including the Starter tier. Schema requests cost 0 credits.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. You'll continue to have full access to your plan until the end of your current billing period — we don't cut off access early. Your plan simply won't renew after that.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards — Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Your card details are never stored on our servers.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes to both. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period so you keep your existing access until then.
What's the difference between Individual and Business?
Individual plans are for one user. Business plans are the planned team tiers for organizations that need shared seats and higher limits, and they are coming soon. During beta, all accounts are individual accounts provisioned on Individual Pro for free. Both Individual and Business plans are internal use only. Business adds team seats and higher limits, but it does not add customer-facing, redistribution, or third-party delivery rights.
Can I use TickerDB in a customer-facing product or AI assistant?
No. Standard Individual and Business plans are internal use only. You can use TickerDB in internal research workflows, internal tools, trading systems, and internal agents used by you or your team. You cannot expose TickerDB-backed outputs to customers or third parties, even if the output is rewritten, summarized, scored, or otherwise transformed. If you need customer-facing or redistribution rights, contact us to discuss a separate agreement.
How do team seats work?
Business plans include team seats — 3 for Business Plus, 10 for Business Pro. The team owner invites members by email via the /v1/team API or the dashboard. Each member gets their own API key and account, but rate limits are shared across the team. When a member is removed, they're automatically downgraded to the Starter tier.
How much does each API request cost?
Most endpoints cost 1 credit per request. Watchlist GET costs 1 credit per ticker in the request — for example, fetching a watchlist with 10 saved tickers costs 10 credits. Summary event lookups with cross-asset context cost 2 credits. Schema requests cost 0 credits.
Can I redistribute the data?
No. Neither Individual nor Business plans include redistribution rights. Both are internal use only. You cannot resell, sublicense, or expose TickerDB-backed outputs to customers or other third parties, whether those outputs are raw, minimally transformed, summarized, rewritten, scored, or otherwise repackaged. If your use case requires customer-facing or redistribution rights, contact us to discuss a separate agreement.
Need higher capacity or customer-facing rights?
The plans above do not cover every use case. If you need volume beyond Business Pro, redistribution rights, or permission to use TickerDB-backed outputs in a customer-facing product, report, assistant, or API, reach out and we can discuss a separate agreement.
